chicolate flavored song

Sep 22, 2018

Chased by the shadow
of the summer
a morning coffee
tastes
bitter

"memories
that's all
you have"
she said
as she left

"I love you"
Said your message
It does not say
"Love" is
Unconditional

a pumpkin
on a gatepost
carved & deserted
waiting for someone
to please

this frame is the birth place of

hopes,

joys

& love

this life is worth every single ache that comes alone

Millions lives
Passing by
Drowning out
A cicada's
Song

In the midst of
Intense heat
a hint of Autumn found
Finally
the season changed
